Sara Blann-Crafts • Flagstaff, Arizona - Manager
Sara Blann-Crafts (Alto) is an award-winning mezzo-soprano who has sung throughout the United States and parts of Italy. Her list of credits includes singing with such opera companies as the Opera Company of Philadelphia, Festival dei dui Mondi (Spoleto, Italy), Bronx Opera, Sarasota Opera, and Center City Opera Theatre. Ms. Blann-Crafts primarily specializes in character roles and obscure opera. Besides a burgeoning opera career, she also enjoys singing as both a cantor soloist and an oratorio soloist. She is thrilled to be able to join Dr. Jordan and Anam Cara.

James Douglas • Princeton, New Jersey - Assistant Conductor
James Douglas (Bass), resides in Princeton, New Jersey, where he is an undergraduate at Westminster Choir College. He is currently finishing his Bachelor’s in Sacred Music, studying voice with Thomas Faracco and organ with Eric Plutz. He received his initial musical training as a boy chorister with the renowned Saint Thomas Choir of Men and Boys. He attended the St. Thomas Choir School in New York City, where he performed in such venues as Carnegie Hall and the Brooklyn Academy of Music, in addition to performing with the likes of Carly Simon and Jessye Norman. Following his high school graduation from Saint James School, a co-ed boarding school in rural Maryland, he attended on scholarship the prestigious Eton College Summer Choral Courses, directed by Ralph Allwood, and sang a live Choral Evensong on BBC Radio. An active Chorus America member, Mr. Douglas has been Director of Music at All Saints’ Episcopal Church (Millington, NJ) since October 2005, where he is organist and director of two volunteer choirs.

Kera Jewett • Bristol, Connecticut - Executive Director
Kera Jewett (Soprano) is currently Executive Director for Anam Cara. She graduated from Westminster Choir College in 2006. While there, she had the experience of singing under Dr. Jordan with the Westminster Voices and was a student of Sharon Sweet. She has had the pleasure of working with James Litton, Timothy Brown, The New York Philharmonic, and The Dresden Philharmonic, among others. Her voice can be heard on the Teaching Music through Performance in Choir resource recording for Volume 1 (GIA), under the direction of Dr. Jordan. She is currently working towards her Master’s in Arts Administration at Drexel University.

Linda Lee Jones • New Orleans, Louisiana
Linda Lee Jones (soprano), a New Orleans native, has acquired an impressive range of performance experience while singing with some of the world's finest orchestras and choral ensembles. Choral highlights include performances with the New York Philharmonic and New Jersey Symphony, and solo appearances with the Masterwork Chorus of New Jersey, Symphonic Choir of New Orleans, Louisiana Vocal Arts Chorale and New Jersey Chamber Singers. Ms. Jones has also entranced audience members at the 2006 Spoleto Festival USA, where she premiered Michael Nyman’s Mozart on Mortality. Her recent engagements have included performances of Honneger’s Le Roi David and Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel (Dewfairy) with the Jefferson Performing Arts Society. Ms. Jones is a graduate of Loyola University in New Orleans and is currently pursuing a master of music in Choral Conducting and Voice Performance at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ.

Kathryn Thomas Moyer • Yardley, Pennsylvania
Kathryn Thomas Moyer (Soprano) holds a Master of Music from Manhattan School of Music and a Bachelor of Music from Westminster Choir College. Ms. Moyer toured with The National Opera Companyin the role of Mimi in Puccini’s La Bohemeand performed the role of Emilia in the American Premiere of Handel’s Flavioat the Westminster Opera Theater. She has participated for ten summers in the Spoleto Festival in Spoleto, Italy, where she worked with composer Gian Carlo Menotti in several of his operas and choral works, including a video recording of Amahl and the Night Visitors.Among many solo recitals and concerts is her European debut as soprano soloist in Faure’s Requiemat the Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto, Italy, under the direction of Joseph Flummerfelt. Ms. Moyer currently maintains a private voice studio in Yardley, Pennsylvania, and is an adjunct teacher at The College of New Jersey.

Michelle Repella • Hoboken, New Jersey
Michelle Repella (Soprano) is a senior Music Education major at Westminster Choir College, pursuing her Master’s in Teaching, also at Westminster. She has been a member of St Bartholomew’s professional choir in New York City for three years. She has performed with artists such as Jessye Norman, Andrea Bocceli, Denyse Graves, Judy Collins, Hugh Masekela, and Paul Simon. She has been featured on two St. Bartholomew’s albums, as well as the Trans Siberian Orchestra’s album The Christmas Attic. She would like to thank all of her Soul friends who made this experience an amazing one!

Jessica Tomsko • Harleysville, Pennsylvania
Jessica Tomsko (Soprano) completes her undergraduate degree in Voice Performance at Westminster Choir College in 2007. She has previously performed and recorded with Dr. Jordan and the Williamson Voices, and is now pleased to be part of this new ensemble. Ms. Tomsko performed the Brahms Requiemat Lincoln Center in their 2004–05 season with The Dresden Philharmonic under the direction of Rafael Fruhbeck de Burgos, and also sang Mozart’s Coronation Massat Lincoln Center in their 2005–06 season under the direction of Maestro Lorin Maazel. Her television credits include voiceovers for L’Oreal Kids Shampoo and DivaStarz Dolls. Ms. Tomsko is a student of Zehava Gal.

Emily Werne • Norfolk, Connecticut
Emily Werne (Soprano) is currently studying Voice Performance at Westminster Choir College. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from St. John’s College in Santa Fe. In Summer 2006, she sang with the Desert Chorale in Santa Fe, and has also performed with Santa Fe Pro Musica. In January 2007, she sang The St. Matthew Passion at Carnegie Hall, with Helmuth Rilling. She has performed with a variety of ensembles in New York City, Connecticut, New Mexico, and New Jersey. Current teachers include Kirsten Lear, Sylvia McNair, Mark Moliterno, and Zahava Gal. Ms. Werne is also a professional chef.

Joanna Kessling • Atlanta, Georgia
Joanna Kessling (Alto), a native of Atlanta, is currently in her second year of studies in Sacred Music at Westminster Choir College. She is a member of Schola Cantorum and the Williamson Voices. She studies voice with Julia Kemp.

Allegra Martin • Boston, Massachusetts
Allegra Martin (Alto) earned her Master’s in Choral Conducting from Westminster Choir College in 2006. While at Westminster, she sang with the Westminster Choir and the Westminster Kantorei, and performed for two years at the Spoleto Festival. She was the founder and director of New Century Voices in Boston, Massachusetts, and Roseae Feminae in Princeton, New Jersey, which performed at Westminster’s 2005 Convocation. Ms. Martin currently lives, sings, and conducts in Boston. She is also a nerd and can be found blogging online at http://currentconductor.blogspot.com.

Lizabeth Molloy • Allentown, Pennsylvania
Lizabeth Molloy (Alto) is a junior Music Education major at Westminster Choir College. She has previously worked under conductors Sun Min Lee, Sue Ellen Page, and James Jordan.

Travis Mussel • Bernardsville, New Jersey
Travis Mussel (Baritone) attended Westminster Choir College, where he was a founding member of The Westminster Williamson Voices. He is a voice student of Guy Rothfuss and maintains an active choral singing career.

Amelia Nagoski • Naugatuck, Connecticut
Amelia Nagoski (Alto) is a contributing author of Teaching Music through Performance in Choir, Volume 2(GIA, 2007). She earned her Bachelor’s in Music Education from the University of Delaware and her Master’s in Choral Conducting from Westminster Choir College. She taught middle school and high school music for five years. She is currently Minister of Music at Middlebury Congregational Church in Middlebury, Connecticut, and Conductor of the Connecticut Yankee Chorale in Torrington. A gifted linguist and diction coach for Anam Cara,Ms. Nagoski is also an editor for the Evoking Sound Choral Series(GIA), and she recently contributed a chapter on choral ensemble diction to James Jordan’s book, The Choral Rehearsal: Volume One: Techniques and Procedures.

Colby Smith • Basking Ridge, New Jersey
Colby Smith (Alto) studies Vocal Performance at Westminster Choir College of Rider University. At Westminster, she is a student of Sally Wolf and an active member of various performing ensembles throughout the college, including the Williamson Voices under the direction of Dr. Jordan. She is an aspiring soprano soloist and looks forward to a career in opera.

Lee Cromwell • Harrington, Delaware
Lee Cromwell (Tenor) is a 2005 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Bucknell University, with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Theatre. He is currently a second-year graduate student at Westminster Choir College, pursuing his Master of Music in Choral Conducting. He has studied conducting with William Payn, Andrew Megill, and James Jordan, and has performed with the Williamson Voices, Symphonic Choir, and The Westminster Choir in concerts with both the New Jersey Philharmonic and the New York Philharmonic. He can be seen singing and conducting on A Bucknell Candlelight Christmas,taped by PBS for national broadcast, and he was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2004.

Michael King • Lawrenceville, New Jersey
Michael King (Tenor) has been a part of many choirs, ranging from the world-renowned to the barely recognizable, and has fully enjoyed his experiences while working with Dr. Jordan. Mr. King officially started his choral career in the New Jersey Children’s Choir and progressed to St. Thomas Choir School in Manhattan, New York. He was in a variety of choirs while at Blair Academy in Blairstown, New Jersey, and now attends Westminster Choir College as a tenor Voice Performance major, where he has been part of the Westminster Symphonic Choir and the Westminster Choir. In his time as a chorister, he has had the privilege of traveling to Italy, Denmark, and England, as well as throughout the United States.

Reid Masters • Arlington, Texas
Reid Masters (Tenor) began his life as a musician at age five, when he began studying piano. He is currently enrolled in Westminster Choir College as a graduate student majoring in Sacred Music. In addition to his studies, he is also Director of Music for a Lutheran church located on the Jersey shore. After school, he plans to settle into a full-time position as a church director of music.

Randall Murphy • Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania
Randall Murphy (Tenor) is a student at Westminster Choir College, studying with Guy Rothfuss. He currently sings with Anam Caraand the Williamson Voices, both under the direction of Dr. Jordan. He previously sang in the Bach Choir of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, under the direction of Greg Funfgeld. He has also worked under the esteemed Steven Sametz and Nicholas Cleobury, and has performed in New York City, Harrisburg, Princeton, Bethlehem, Orlando, and many other cities across the eastern United States. He is pursuing a degree in Sacred Music and hopes to further his education and career by pursuing a degree in Choral Conducting.

Peter Fischer • Stone Mountain, Georgia
Peter Fischer (Bass), a graduate of Westminster Choir College (1997), is a singer, dancer, and educator located in New York City. He frequently performs with several ensembles, including the New York Choral Artists, Musica Sacra, New York Concert Singers, and Pro Arte Singers. He has taught in New Jersey and New York City as a music instructor and choreographer, and is currently the Youth Choir Director at Irvington Presbyterian Church in Westchester County, New York.


Lynn Eustis • Soprano
Lynn Eustis is Associate Professor of Voice at the University of North Texas, where she joined the faculty in August 1999. She holds a Doctor of Music in Opera from Florida State University, a Master of Music from the Curtis Institute of Music, and a Bachelor of Music from Bucknell University, Phi Beta Kappa.

A featured artist at the Festival de Opera 2006 with the Compania Lirica Nacional (Costa Rica), her other international performances include four seasons as a recital soloist at the Hudebni Festival Vysocina in the Czech Republic (2002, 2003, 2004, and 2006), an appearance as a guest artist at the Chichester Cathedral (UK) in Summer 2005, and soprano soloist in Mozart’s Exsultate, jubilate with the Guangzhou Symphony (China) in Fall 2006. Other recent appearances include Damon in Handel’s Acis and Galatea at the Crested Butte Music Festival (CO) and Iphis in Handel’s Jephtha under the baton of Graeme Jenkins with the Dallas Bach Society. In April 2007, she will sing the soprano role in the North American Premiere of James Whitbourne’s Annalies.

She appears regularly as a soloist with numerous professional organizations, including the Dallas Bach Society, Fort Worth Dallas Ballet, Atlanta Baroque Orchestra, San Angelo Symphony, Fort Worth Early Music, Orchestra of New Spain, Williamsport Symphony (PA), Master Chorale of South Florida, Concert Royal (NY), and Æxxus Vocal Ensemble (NY). She has been heard as soprano soloist with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra in Cantata No. 51 (Bach) and Mozart’s Great Mass in C Minor. She is also featured as soprano soloist in the 2003 Klavier Music Productions recording of Carmina burana (Orff).
Dr. Eustis is author of The Singer’s Ego: On Finding Balance Between Music and Life(GIA, 2005). Presentations on this material include the 2005 Hawaii International Conference on the Arts and Humanities, the 2004 Texas Music Teachers Association State Convention, and the 2005 Texoma NATS Artist Series. She is also a frequent lecturer on music of the Holocaust.

A native of Long Island, New York, Dr. Eustis was previously Assistant Professor of Voice/Opera at Howard Payne University. She currently studies voice with Richard Croft.

Deborah Ford • Mezzo-soprano
Deborah Ford is currently Director of the Absalom Jones Inspirational Choir and the Trinity Children’s Choir, as well as Music Coordinator of Trinity Cathedral in Trenton, New Jersey. Additionally, she teaches Music, Ethics & Drama at the Trinity Academy, and serves on the executive board of Trenton Arts Connection. In Spring 2002, Ms. Ford opened the inaugural concert of Philadelphia’s new Kimmel Center. She was featured as “The Storyteller” in the Jazz Nativity staged at the Trenton War Memorial in 2001. She has been a featured soloist with the St. Louis Opera Festival, Los Angeles Masterwork Chorale, America Music Theatre Festival, The Choral Arts Society of Washington, DC (at the Kennedy Center), The Princeton Pro Musica, Princeton Chamber Symphony, St. Peter’s By the Sea Orchestra, and The Greater Trenton Symphony.

In 1995, Ms. Ford was the First Place winner at the Eastern Region Auditions of the National Association of the Teachers of Singing. She also was Gold Medalist at the Savannah Onstage Vocal Competition. In January 2001, she composed and performed a setting for Psalm 73 for the Lutheran and Episcopalian Full Communion celebration. In February of that year, she was guest soloist for the Diocese of Virginia’s Convention. Her Christmas CD, Of Bells and Angels,with the Texas Boy Choir was released in 1996.

Ms. Ford holds degrees and certificates from European Music Seminars (Heimbach Germany), the American Institute for Musical Studies (Graz, Austria), and Westminster Choir College. In January 2003, she entered Westminster Choir College to pursue a degree in Sacred Music.

Linda Lee Jones • Soprano
Soprano and New Orleans native Linda Lee Jones has received consistent acclaim for her radiant singing in a wide range of genres, both as soloist and ensemble singer. She has been a featured soloist at the Spoleto Festival, USA, and with the Symphonic Choir of New Orleans, Louisiana Vocal Arts Chorale, and Masterwork Chorus of New Jersey, and has sung under such illustrious conductors as Kurt Mazur, Pierre Boulez, and Loren Maazel. She recently completed her Master of Music in Conducting and Voice at Westminster Choir College of Rider University.
